Who we are
Floodboard is an independent, grassroots project - not a government agency and not an ad business. During floods everyone asks the same questions: which roads are flooded, how deep, can my car get through - and the answers are scattered across dozens of sources. We put them in one place. Free, no sign-up, no app to install.
How it works
Every few minutes we pull BMA road water sensors (measured in cm), official notices, Traffy Fondue, ThaiWater (HII) rain and water-level stations, CCTV, news, social media and reports from people on the ground, and judge every road for sedans, motorbikes, pickups and trucks. Official data and sensors weigh most; citizen reports need corroboration before they change routing.
The more people help, the better it gets
If you are at a flooded spot, tap "Report flooding", pick the depth and add a photo. Your report is on the map within seconds and helps others avoid the road right away. No name or phone number needed.
Transparent and open
Every colour on the map traces back to its sources. Flooded-road data and reports are free for newsrooms, agencies and developers (GeoJSON / CSV, CC BY 4.0), and the live status can be embedded on any website.
Please note
Fused from many sources and may be incomplete. A road without colour is not necessarily dry. Never drive into moving water. In an emergency call 1669 or the BMA hotline 1555.
