Mateusz Gniadek co-created Floodboard, a live flood map of Bangkok built by the people, for the people during the 2026 floods.
Mateusz is a Polish cybersecurity student, a software developer and the president of WMS_DEV, a student research club. On Floodboard he led the design and development: the live map, the fusion of BMA road sensors, official notices and reports from people, flood-aware routing for every type of vehicle, and the automatic alerts on X.
